We are very proud of the great service we provide to the Irish Catering Industry and also of the portfolio of products we have to offer. We have been involved in the catering and hospitality industry in Ireland for over 40 years and during that time we have built our business offering quality choice and value with all of the brands that we supply.

Enjoying such market-leading brands as Schwartz, Bicks, Noëls, and our own-brand offering, Newforge, we offer a one-stop shop when supplying products to the foodservice industry. We are continually investing in our operations to ensure we maintain our service levels and we talk directly to our customers, the people that use the product therefore establishing key relationships with chefs up and down the country. Keeping in touch also ensures we can have some understanding of the knowledge and skill of what it takes to be a chef in the busy catering industry in Ireland

We have gathered the finest people in the industry across our sales, warehouse, office, finance, purchasing and management departments who will provide this service.

Our Quality System has been designed to ensure that the needs of all concerned stakeholders are considered. The system is maintained in a controlled manner and is continually being reviewed, updated and improved in accordance with procedures and practices to ensure its effectiveness in order to achieve our goals and business objectives.
+ Distribution
We deliver to all locations nationally on a daily basis. Within the Dublin area, we provide a Day One for Day Two service; outside Dublin, we provide a Day One for Day Three service. To deliver, we use nationwide phone-controlled fleets operated by fully-accredited distribution companies. All deliveries are pre-booked. Emergency deliveries can be arranged. Our state-of-the-art storage complex in Baldoyle Industrial Estate utilizes 21,000 square feet (1,950 square metres) of storage space, which includes 1,800 pallet rack spaces. Dedicated order-selection and assembly teams guarantee a prompt and professional service. Computerised stock control systems provide accurate and real-time information.

Paul Ivory

Operations Director/Joint Managing Director

Paul has been with Excellence Ltd for 32 years during which time he has worked in all areas of the business. Beginning as a Warehouse Operative, Paul then went on to other areas of the business including Merchandising, Sales, Business Development, Purchasing and then Operations, which finally lead to a successful management buyout of the business with Neil Curley in 2008. Paul has been joint owner and Operations Director for 10 years now.  

Neil Curley

Sales Director/Joint Managing Director

Neil has been joint owner and Sales Director with Excellence Ltd for 10 years.  Previous to this, Neil was Sales Manager in the ‘Away from Home’ Division at Kraft Foods Ireland for 5 years where he was responsible for retention and development within the following sectors, Wholesale / Cash & Carry, HORECA  sector, Travel and Leisure, Workplace and Institutional sectors. Neil was also the Foodservices Sales Manager for Ranks Hovis McDougall for 10 years previous to Kraft, where he managed a Sales Team and their Key accounts.
